ENG 312: Introduction to Shakespeare

Taught: Fall 2017

I prepared and gave a unit on Henry IV Part I as a substitute instructor. The faculty instructor had given the introduction to the play, and identified themes he wanted me to cover, but I designed the lectures and class activities for two class days.

Class activities used scenes from the BBC’s Hollow Crown adaptation of the play for analysis. I also gave a short survey at the end of the two days so I could identify for their instructor on what material they wanted more information or coverage.
